Ask the Library About Outside Scholarships

The Library organizes and compiles resources with outside scholarship information. Please find our current scholarships packet on this Blog and opportunities posted at the Library entrance.

Outside scholarships can be combined with any CW scholarship. Anyone presently enrolled at any college or university can take advantage of these opportunities. In most cases, scholarship applicants must be prepared to submit grade point averages, transcripts and at least a one page essay. However, most companies do not require the same information from their applicants. It is best to check through the eligibility requirements for each respective grantor carefully.

Summer Reading 2010

The New York Public Library has taken a unique approach to summer reading. This summer, they've rolled out www.summerreading.org, a website where students can create an avatar and show off their favorite books, CDs, movies, or video games all with one profile. They can create reviews and find new things by seeing what their fellow students are reading, watching, or playing this summer.

Newly Arranged Study Areas in the Library

The CW Library has 4 designated group study tables. The study tables are creatively enclosed by bookshelves and accomodate groups with up to six members.
