New Periodicals at the library

The CW library has added three new periodicals to its collection.  Issues starting in February 2012 through the current issues are available for review in the library.



Animation Magazine: this is a monthly publication that is a resource for   animation, technology updates, feature films, gaming, and industry trends. Also featured is conference and meet up information.





 



Digital Arts: this is a monthly publication that highlights techniques in 3D animation, video design and web design.  Also featured are tutorials and showcases of successful innovative works. 






Marketing Health Services (previously the Journal of Health Care Marketing): this is a quarterly publication that focuses on new and innovative ways to market health services including e-health, measuring ROI and legislative developments. The June issue covers topics such as The Mayo Mystique, blank canvas marketing techniques and marketing against childhood obesity.

Offsite Access to Online Library Resources in 3 Steps


Faculty, Students and Staff  can access the CW Library online at http://library.cw.edu/

1.      Click the Research tab for Journal or Newspaper Articles or  Library Catalog  to browse books held by the Library.
2.      If you’re looking for articles, choose Databases A-Z to find your database title, or choose Databases by Subject if you do not know the name of the database you are looking for. A brief description of the database is available below the database title. It will describe the contents and subjects covered. 
3.       Sign on with your CW log-in and search!

Remember:  The database name will differ from the vendor name.  For example, EBSCO is a vendor name.  Please ask a librarian if you have any questions.
